For this occasion, the Band will be joined, among others, the Canadian soprano Sarah Barnes in the role of Dido, the English baritone F. Javier Centeno as Aeneas and the soprano Claudia Rolando Argentina in the role of Belinda. The orchestra will be composed of seven musicians who will perform on historical instruments. The opera will be directed from the harpsichord by the interpreter and professor of musicology at the University of Valladolid, Miguel Ignacio Nieto.
Meanwhile Musicalia the Coral Group, based in the city of Valladolid, began its journey in early 2006 and consists of approximately twenty members. Many of them are, in turn, music teachers, choir directors and other people related to music education.
Up Today the choir has participated in concerts in Valladolid ("Portico de Semana Santa" in the Church of St. Michael, St. Gregory Chapel, Church of the Philippines - International Congress of Popular Religiosity etc.), Burgos (Church St. Lesmes), Palencia (Spain Fund Auditorium, Church of San Francisco), Ávila (Auditorio de San Francisco), Cáceres (International Church Music Festival), Soria (International Polyphonic Competition, etc.). He has also recorded a CD for the Junta de Castilla y León occasion Durii Vinus Congress held in Portugal in 2006. Interpretation has held workshops with Xabier Sarasola, Josep Prats and Jaime Buhigas.
