SYNOPSIS: Currently
Central America suffers an invasion of transnational mining companies.
Goldcorp is a Canadian gold company further expansion in the area. In recent years its operations have caused pollution, disease, death, Community Division and the criminalization of social protest.
In Honduras and El Salvador the outrage and the organization grow every day. In Guatemala, Mayan People over 50 have decided to curb the expansion of mining through community consultation.
This fight has just begun.
