Callescuela Association, institution that has worked for over 25 years for the promotion, protection and recognition of the rights of children , girls and adolescents (NNA), we express our strongest condemnation of any act of violence that threatens LIFE AND DIGNITY OF YOUNG NNA at all levels, private and public, and particularly given the fact that occurred on Tuesday 22 March in Ciudad del Este with an Indian boy of 13 years in the struggle for survival and to hunger and misery in which he found some coins went to request a motorist and it gave him a shot in the leg as a way of responding to the need expressed by the child. This reminds us of the death squads against the NNA razed in the streets in the districts of San Paulo, Brazil in decades past and that caused the deaths of many children.

Poverty is not the fault of the poor, those responsible are those that historically have impoverished our country through political behavior and actions perk corrupt, embezzling state resources belonging to all more people and even children and adolescents.

urge all public and private institutions, social organizations and individuals to make an effort so that violence against the / as NNA are punished to the full extent of the law to avoid impunity and injustice prevails.

We need the unrestricted application of all rights enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Code of Childhood and Adolescence to protect / NNA as a way to recover dignity and thus understand that poverty can anyone at all violent actions against their lives and them.
