INVITATION TO MEETING LOCAL, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL
Postulantes a la presidencia regional y a los gobiernos locales suscribieron Acuerdo por el Desarrollo de Ayacucho al 2024. En la dimensión de desarrollo social, se comprometieron a garantizar el acceso de la población, especialmente de niñas y niños, a una educación intercultural quality bilingual.
On 22 September they held the event in which the applicants to the Regional Government of Ayacucho and candidates for the various governments signed the Agreement Development of Ayacucho to 2024. By signing this document pledged to work in creating public policies that contribute to the development of the region.
The Agreement was developed based on the Wari Plan (Regional Development Plan Agreed - PDRC 2007. 2024) and developed according to 4 themes: Social Development, Economic Development, Environment and Natural Resources and Institutional Development and Decentralization.
In the social development dimension, future Ayacucho authorities undertook to ensure access of the population, especially girls and children, bilingual intercultural education quality.
also committed to ensuring increased coverage of quality education services at the initial level, serving children 0 to 3 years and 3 to 5 years, and to strengthen the opportunities for participation , coordination, monitoring and advocacy in education (COPAR, CER-A, copal, CONEI, educational networks, thematic networks in education), among others. In the field of health, signed the Agreement seeks to ensure the continuous improvement of public health services, with an intercultural approach, prevention and health promotion through the implementation of "Policy Guidelines to Regional Health 2014 ", ensuring the economic, human and logistical resources to achieve its objectives.
Ensuring maternal health - child safe, build a comprehensive policy with a focus on promotion and prevention to reduce child malnutrition, as well as ensure protection strategy, and inclusion in health care, education and employment for people with disabilities are part of the commitments contained in the Development Agreement.
Another important document is the commitment to work efficiently and ensuring the quality of public administration, through results-based management and budgetary implementation of strategic programs that give priority to maternal, neonatal and protection of children and adolescents.
The Roundtable for Poverty Reduction, together UNICEF, UNFPA, Prisma, NDI, Europe with the support of CTB-PILVS, Task, a member organization of Save the Children, World Vision, Association Ser, NERA, TADEPA, MIM, CORAPJO, CARETUR, PRIA and the Cubs were Foundation institutions that developed the document, with the assistance and support of the National Agreement.
In the document signed by the candidates have different agendas including issues worked out jointly by civil society organizations, representatives of the current Regional Government and the public. These include the Regional Plan of Action for the Rights of Children and Adolescents in 2015, the Regional Education Project in Ayacucho, Health Guidelines for 2014, the Wari Agenda for the Integral Development of Ayacucho, among others.
